Discovery Charter Buses, LLC
Discovery Charter Buses, LLC was established in the Rio
Grande Valley, Texas in 2009.
It is a family owed business with over 35 years of
experience in transportation. The owners, Mr. Nicolas Escamilla
a third-generation member who started learning the family
business at an early age, and his wife, Mrs. Heidi Y. Cepeda de
Escamilla, are hands-on, well-versed members of their company.
Mr. Escamilla manages the operation, maintenance, dispatching
and rotation of the drivers and she oversees the company’s
administration, procedures, sales and employees.
Our inspiration and endeavor came from our family, both
my husband’s family for generation including my husband’s
parents, his paternal grandparents several uncles and an aunt
were always at the forefront of the transportation industry. His
family were the founders of the Transporte Escamilla in Los
Herrera and Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico and they were one
of the first means of bus transportation in that era. As well as
Mrs. Escamilla’s family including her father, his father (her
grandfather), and her uncle were dedicated to the industry of
transportation through the railroad system on a national level in
Mexico, which transported both passengers and materials.
